Remove spoiler for Rocket Bunny one?

Sup guys!

So eventually I am going to get the RB kit for my FRS, however, I currently have a spoiler on it already that came from the dealer. It isn't the one that's tacked on the back, but the one that kind of "sits" on top of the trunk.

Anyways my quesiton is, what is the best way to remove the old spoiler and plug up or fill the holes that will be left there so you wouldn't be able to tell an old spoiler was on there?

Also, what's visibility like once that GT wing is on there?

Thanks guys!

I can tell you visibility depends on how you adjust your rear view mirror and seat, but for me, I can see the car behind me but not who's in the car, that's about it, nothing that scary like not being able to see anything.

If the holes are small I think body filler would work otherwise you will have to weld those holes, sand them down and then paint the whole trunk again.

No no no no no!

If you have to ask how to shave the holes, then take it to a body shop.

Grind paint off, plug weld the holes, grind the welds flush, bodywork, prime, block and prime, paint. Also quick spray of undercoating or paint on the backside to protect the backsides of the welds from corrosion.

i would just look for someone to trade trunks with. find a guy with no spoiler and trade with him for yours plus a little bit of cash from their end.
