question on putting my tires in the storage

I have a set of wheels and tires I like to put away for storage, is it better to put them in storage with the tires still on the wheels or should I uninstall them before storage?

Unmounting them won't get you any benefits, except a lighter wallet.

Depending on the tire, you should really store them in a warm area though. Good summer tires don't like being stored in cold temps.

Thx, what would happen if it stay in cold temp room for too long?

Some higher performance summer tires will have the compound change when stored in freezing temperatures for a long period of time. The result is that when they defrost they could become less grippier or performance can be a compromised. Not like the tire would be unusable, but I've heard people noticing quite a difference under harder performance.

Yep, happened to me with Star Specs.
The car was stored in an unheated garage while the tires were still good, but in the following spring and summer I noticed the performance dropped (not commensurate with the wear on them).
