Recaro and Bride owners get in here.

Hey guys I'm probably going to be buying a bucket seat as a christmas gift to myself this year. I am looking at either a Bride Vios III or a Recaro Pole Position. Now I have sat in a Recaro and it's a great feel. I'm about a 33 waist and I know the pole position is rated for a 32 but really feels like a 34. On the other hand I have never sat in a Bride Vios III only in a Bride Gias and maybe some Gias reps. Both of those seemed to be very tight in the leg area in the sense that I couldn't move them left and right because the bolsters were too close. So I am looking for an opinion from maybe somebody who has sat in both of these and can comment with which they felt more comfortable.

I've owned both and if you are going to be dailying in either one I would go for the PP. I am about 32 waist and the vios was too tight to daily. The shoulder bolsters were too narrow for me although I do prefer the leg bolsters because you sit deeper than the PP. It was good for autox but getting in and out was very snug. The PP still provides good support and would be better suited for everyday driving and weekend fun. I would recommend the SPG if you haven't sat in one already. It is kind of in between both seats

I have a Bride ZETA III L... 33 inch waist, 5'10 170lbs. It's a extremely snug fit, cars not my daily, and minimal if any room to grow. Lol

I haven't really looked into the Zeta's because from the pictures the side bolsters look taller than the Vios which I feel would be better for daily driving getting over those walls lmao. How is it for you getting in and out? It rains a lot here in Miami and I don't want to get soaked spending 5 minutes figuring out how to get out of my car haha.

In this thread I learned I need to lose weight

I personally wouldn't 100% daily with either seat. Doesn't take a long time to get in and out of.... But definitely will work your arms out a little bit getting in and out esp if you don't have a quick release.

Also, I do squats bro... So it may or may not be more snug because of this Lol.

Isn't that the worst? Even though I don't even lift anymore, I remember trying to find jeans that fit with 30 or 32 waist and squat legs. I ended up wearing basketball shorts everywhere

Well honestly it keeps you in your seat and well it is a bucket so it is functional. Getting out isn't bad. One hand on the console near the ebrake and other hand on the sill where the silver piece is. Push yourself up and out. Easy shmeezy. It's not any slower than getting out of a regular seat. I do it daily. Because race car.

My local friend dailies a pole position and I can see how it's really almost nicer than oem

No comment on the brides but I've sat in pole positions and had SPG's in my e46 M3. I think I'm around the same size as you. The SPG's fit perfectly and the pole positions were a bit larger with a little more wiggle room. One thing to consider when going with PP's is the height of the harness holes. They sit pretty low so if you're tall you might have issues using a harness.

I'm around 6'3 250.

Have recaro speeds in vette.

Really like them a lot.

Bride Vios III regular size here. 5'7 150 31/32 waist size. asian (narow shoulders). I dd it perfectly fine. HOWEVER if i had to redo it, id go recaro PP. They just feel.... nicer haha i dont know how to describe it. but i feel planted but more movement. the Brides hold u in....

never thought about the Buddy Club P1 Limited in black? it matches our seats with the red shoulders and apparently fits up to 34 size
