BRZ keyless entry/ignition and auto climte control system how-to video
 
made a short video on how these systems work in case anyone was wondering.

how do u get it into the acc or lock mode?

forgot to demonstrate that in the video.

you press the start button without pressing the clutch.

first push activates the electronics, and the second push activates everything except for the engine.

Can you answer why the car was beeping at the end of the video?

I don't have an auto so... how does this work for auto owners? (curious)

For auto if you don't have your foot on the brake it will go into acc mode

That looks like it works pretty well. I was hoping you wouldn't have to hold the brake for the manual version. Too bad Scion will likely never get it (aside from maybe the Release Series).

Can you show us how the auto climate controls work? I'm not entirely sure how you change all the modes with that.

left the headlights on i think.

the scion does not. this video only applies to the US market BRZ limited trim.

The beeping at the end of the first video is the normal "open door" beep. If the lights are left on, there's a solid tone rather than a beep.
