Picked this up today on a whim at Harbor Freight. I don't have high expectations. I figured for $10, what the heck.

Sprays mixture of soap and water onto car... skips using the bucket for soap mix. What about it?

The only thing is that you'll still need a bucket to rinse out your microfiber after washing down a section of the car. Aside from that, this does help w/ application of soap to the car. Not that big a deal though.

I meant this particular device. Instead of a $50 Gilmour.

Well... try it out and let us know how it is! For $10 bucks you can't really go wrong.

I use the Gilmour and love it! Mostly use it to pre soak cars to loosen debris, works well for the money. I've tried a few of those styles you posted they work eh so so at best I've found the soap all runs out way to soon and then your mostly spraying just water.

I use that foam thing from harbor freight. Very nice for the price.

Wear rubber apron and flip flops cause you're gonna get wet. Had one very similar and it got about 1/2 the car done before it ran out of soap.

Update. Not worth $10. I figured it wasn't but wanted to be optimistic. I used Mr. pink and it foamed up a bit on initial try. But went though the soap in the reservoir very quickly. I used 1 ounce and then did a second trial with 3 ounces and reduced the flow of the mix. Not much better. I was going to post a photo but on the Yuzu, the limited foam was hard to detect. Sticking with the Gilmour.

ya i got one been using it for a while.
fill it up with wash liquid
set to mist with the top nob set all the way open to max mixture
then rinse with just water
mist again with soap
then get the 2 buckets ready
wash the car with 2 bucket method
"cone" setting rinse with just water
now fill with water less wash concentrate
set to flood and pour from top of the car so that u have just big patches of water
dry with waffle weave micro fiber

I had one that worked well....but the seal or something broke cause it just constantly spews water out of the hose end so I stopped using it. Going to look into using a pressure washer or just stick with the bucket full of soapy water method

A pressure washer with a foam lance is the way to go.
