Finding Original Owner (or all modifications)
 

I bought a SWP Manual BRZ from Norm Reeves Honda in West Covina, California in August. It came in a very "new" condition, minus a hole in the passenger seat (no one I talked to has seen any hole in leather like it) which you can see below:

(Heat bubbled up plaster used to cover up hole. Eventually going to find black leather to fill hole correctly.)

I bought it at US$20900 with a plethora of mods I would have eventually done myself. Over the past 2 months I have tried finding all the possible mods that have been done to the car, and am wondering whether there are mods that I have overlooked. I know there is a small chance the original owner still lurks around or that someone around these parts knew him/her through this forum.

If I remember correctly he would take his car somewhere near Irvine, California for regular checkups almost every 2 months. His license plate was either "FT86 BRZ" or "BRZ FT86". Picture of the modifications are shown below.

you might want to ask in the specific regional forum to try and find the owner. Should you not find him/her, looking for other mods is pretty easy, getting under the car would make it easy to see if any other exhaust mods were done, look at the bushings and LCA to see if they've been changed. Also checking the air filter to see if they replaced it with a drop in filter and looking around the engine bay for anything else that's different. you can also go find a new one, open its hood and compare.
