The stock MAP sensor can't read above 5psi so you really have no headroom with it, and no ability to detect overboosting. I just sucked up the cost and bought them with the tune to have a proper setup. Those two components along with the tune are the only prerequisites for the 11psi I'm mapped for.

New customers: we are shipping out orders and email tunes out today from late last week and over the weekend.

you wont have any negative affects if you run a higher octane then what you are tuned for. ie running 93 oct on a 91 tune.

I've had the chance (bad luck haha) to run the dynamic boost control setup at almost 20 degrees C and 0 degrees C in the past week. Normally the boost pressure I was seeing would vary when it was cold out, but with dynamic boost control is was the same as it was at warmer temps. It's awesome.

Also, due to having no restriction in my exhaust, I was getting a slight amount of boost creep at high RPM's. That problem was also eliminated with dynamic boost control.

So is this designed to replace strapping the car down to the dyno? Or is this for those who wish to run two maps xx psi and E85?

Very good question.

This tune is designed to be a reliable solution for those that do not have access to getting their vehicle dyno tuned by a reputable tuner. It is also for those that do not want to have to wait to get tuned, just Flash & Go.

The tune itself will make power numbers expected from the forced induction kit on your vehicle, while also having a completely stock feel and smooth power delivery.

You are more than welcome to get a custom dyno tune though the EcuTeK tuner will need to start with their own map, as we do not and will not provide an open map for your tuner to start with.

FYI: we are working on a future tune with our FlexFuel Module that will allow you to customize the tune on the dyno if you like. This will be coming 2015.

Flash and Go tune on a JDL Turbo Kit installed by Infamous Performance. This is their first Borg Warner turbo setup. Started right up with no problems, drove it around and delivered to the customer.

@DeliciousTuning Will the electronic boost controller be of any advantage or worthwhile addition for someone who plans to just keep boost levels at wastegate pressure (referring to the AVO Stg1 kit)? Does it help control boost better at those levels, or is it only required when increasing boost above wastegate pressure?
