Kodename47's Tuning Tools
I've had a few PM's so I've decided to add my final tool here.
Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for the tables produced. Please check and confirm all data used within your ROM I have tried and tested these on my car and they seem to work, although some of it is still in experimental stage like tip in enrichment. I don't have much time to explain the whole working of this spreadsheet but I think it's fairly self explanatory. Any questions, please ask and I'll answer them. All error calculations are done by using my Error % column within the log and require only the following fields to be logged: - AFR (WBO2 Preferred) - Commanded AFR - Fuel System Status (OL/CL) - LTFT - STFT Please select whether you log in seconds (s) or milliseconds (ms) in the 1st page. ECUtek is now is seconds so I have confirmed both. If you log in seconds, change the descriptor on the 1st page and it will adjust some of the formulae where required. Added my own touch for users here. AVCS Comparison Tool |
Thanks to @vgi I realised that the error calculation within my spreadsheet doesn't take into account LTFT under OL operation. Typically I don't have LTFTs enabled on my car so I had overlooked this.
Anyway, now sorted and v1.1 Calibration Tool is up :D |
Thanks. I will try the timing spread sheet. I made my own simple sheet but yours looks a little nicer.

Calibration tool and Knock comparison tool both have updates.

Awesome tool.
Scaled my maf yesterday. Compared to the oem setup, the engine's reactions to pedal changes are perfect now. Just wanted to leave to leave a 'thank you' here. :) |
I've gone through and standardized all my spreadsheets and some have some notable updates:
>NEW Multi-Calibration Tool (V1.2) > DI Calculator V2 > Engine Load Compensation Tool > Knock Compensation Calculator > Load Limit Calculator > MAF Comparison Tool > Ignition Timing Table Comparison and Adjust |
Updated my Calibration tool to v1.22 - only some minor formula changes.
Added the MAF Shaping Tool to the OP. Credit to 86Inches on Romraider for this one. Added my own touch for users here to make it a bit easier to use. Designed for giving the MAF a true curve, I have used the tool and it works nicely. Here is the original thread on Romraider, users have reported a smoother car due to correct interpolation of the MAF so I recommend giving this a go. |
Bump.
Can't access the files any more. |

The Multitool is just a .bin file?

https://s15.postimg.org/4gctzmj17/Sc...t_20.12.15.png Stuffed it through VGI's tool (chose the least correction at 2.9v from OL and CL scaling) and put the output unedited into your version of 86Inches smoothing tool. I attached my excel sheet with my data and wanted to ask, if you have the time, if you would please take a look at it and see if the way I used the tool makes sense? In the comparison line, I filled in the MAF scaled that I used to collect the data. The result I end up with is very close. |
@Tor I have tried to make as few values into the Cal row as possible as this will result in the smoothest of curves.
Try this version. It's slightly updated, I've just pasted your scale in and given it a quick run through. You'll see I've added some new tabs to help see areas of the MAF in detail. |
