SOLD: Brand new JDL UEL header, ceramic black
Brand new BNIB JDL UEL header, black ceramic coat! I waited around 2 months for it and it's absolutely beautiful but unfortunately I've had an unfortunate accident and I'm taking the downtime to change direction, hence why the SC was also sold below. It's sitting at home and ready to ship so skip the waitlist! I ordered it with a gasket kit so I'll have the overpipe and two head manifold gaskets, hardware, and a lock nut kit for the header to manifold. I'm trying to recoup what I paid, so I'll sell for SOLD.
I would take more close up pictures but I don't want to unpack it more than necessary. If you're really interested I can take close ups for you. http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...pseeaadf75.jpg http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps3a24e438.jpg http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...psf9b456de.jpg This is just here for the record. Didn't want to generate a new thread so I tagged off my old one. Vortech SC SOLD//Just $2500 picked up or + shipping! This is a great price to get into reliable, fun, and safe boost! This Vortech kit includes everything needed to run it. It's still on the car, I'll be removing it this weekend if I get some interest and I'll take better pictures then of all the individual parts. I purchased this kit used and put about 7000 miles on it myself so there are signs of use. Included is a 3 bar map sensor (not the normally included 2.5 bar so the tune will have to have that accounted for), the MAF sensor extension, both the stock 3.48 and smaller 3.125 pulley as well (you absolutely need to be tuned for this). Both have some scratching on the outer diameter of the shaft (purely cosmetic no affect on function). The 3.48 has a small nick or two on the pulley ribs but they've been filed out and won't cause a problem. The intercooler pipes also have scuffing and scratches. There was a part where it rubbed on the frame for me so I stuck a small piece of foam in between and had no issues. The intercooler is painted black so there's no billboard advertising Vortech on it haha. Will include all hardware needed. Oil was just changed less than 1k mi ago so you have 6.5k at least until you need to change it. I have one bottle of it left that will be included as well. I've never had the kit dyno'ed myself. I started with the 3.48 pulley on the OFT300 tune which I or Vishnu can provide. You can flash it with either a tactrix or OFT. I can also copy the map to an unlocked Ecutek ROM if you have that already. Either way everything in this kit will get you running :D I installed this kit myself so if you're local I can even help the install. A precut and teed brake booster hose is included too. No need to cut your own. In the interest of full disclosure I'm pointing out all the little issues and cosmetic things about this kit so you're informed before you buy. Everything is cosmetic so it doesn't affect function, but I don't want surprises :p 1. There are two dents in the bottom of the intercooler. No leaks, its not one of the air channels, and works perfectly, just cosmetic. Assorted scrapes and scuffs on the intercooler. Some paint chipping on the bracket in the rear of the intercooler. Not visible. 2. The air box support was cut in two by the previous owner for allowing oil lines or something. I just bolted the pieces as I would and added some tape for padding. The airbox is held in place mostly by the connection to the blower. Cosmetic with no issues. 3. The intercooler pipes all have some scraping but the right hand side one (relative to the car) had some issues rubbing on the frame so it wore a little bit away on the wall, but I put a clamp over there along with some padding and had no issued for 6000 miles and no more rubbing. 4. 3 belts are included. The 975 and 970 are for the stock sized 3.48 pulley but squeak because of the dings that were in the stock pulley. I've since filed the dings out and it won't make a new belt squeak but unfortunately the used ones will. They work they're just annoying. The 966 belt is for the 3.125 pulley. This one is in good shape. Both shafts have some scratches since I used a vise grip to change the pulleys. No affect on operation. Great price and local... so tempting but I'm not quite ready for boost.
|
How many miles in total on that blower?
|
Somewhere around or below 10,000 mi.
And hey if you're local I can help with the install it's really not bad :). One of the safest and easiest ways to boost safe for the phantom ESC. Don't need injectors or fuel pump either. |
