Best practice on first oil change (?)
 

I am not sure if there already is an active thread on this topic. Its seems like it keeps on coming up. I like to see poll results and all input is welcome.

As far as I know, it is best to be following the maintenance schedule as provided by manufacturer. Specially for the first oil change because the oil that is in the new vehicle is kind of oil called the "the brake-in oil" and not just a regular oil.

Armed with this information i did my first oil change @ 8000 km approximately @ 5000 miles.

I wish we can all come to an agreement on this subjects. Experts advise is appreciated.
