BRZ gone ...... traded

Traded my 2014 BRZ in for a WRX 2012 hatch with under 30k miles

I know I took a lost since I just purchased the car but I had to sell

Too much snow here and roads don't get plowed since I work nightshift

Ill miss it but this wrx is 100x faster ;)

Shoulda just bought an older WRX for winter and kept the BRZ mate.

Spending ~750 on snow tires is a much better deal than losing thousands on a trade to a car that gets worse economy, has higher insurance and reliability issues.

But hey, what do I know?

Honestly if I were going to trade my car in on anything it'd be a '15 Forester. That is until the bring us a WRX wagon. But I intend on keeping the car forever and just buying other cars.

I lived in Maine and New Hampshire most of my life. Studded snow tires go a looooonggg way.

Funny quote a fire fighter told me - " you know how you can tell which cars are all-wheel-drive? Well they are further off the road"

Those are usually the SUV drivers that have no idea how to drive in the snow and don't think they need snow tires because they think AWD is a magical thing.

Ill have to get some photos off my old phone. I have one were you cannot see my Volvo 850R wagon OR my dads 2500HD full cab full bed Chevy Silverado. Both just gone under the snow.

Nothing like spending all day shoveling and snow blowing your drive way.
