I've thought about getting flex fuel kit. How easy is it to install?

BRZGM3 10-11-2014 04:34 PM

Are those the full blown fuel rails

charged86 10-12-2014 03:31 PM

@AZFA20 what brand rails? dynosty or full blown

AZFA20 10-13-2014 12:47 PM

@BRZGM3 @charged86

Sorry my notifications apparently were not working. They are Dynosty rails. New from them was $320 after shipping.

What are aftermarket fuel rails good for?

They are used for a couple reasons. One being that with these rails you can make your own fuel system whether that is the OEM non-return or should you get to a level where you need to be a return system. Two being you can run the ports in series or parallel feed. Three being the bores are larger for more volume assuming you have also increased your volume capabilities via pump/lines. Four being they look cool and you likely drop the extra few pounds of the OEM rail crash cages. Five being you can easily add a fuel pressure gauge underhood or in cabin. Six you can add a fuel pressure regulator should you need/want and have gone return.
