Limited BRZ seats

Can you swap the leather out for cloth? I like the keyless entry and start and all the other extras, couldn't care about the leather, because I am worried about sliding around too much. I currently don't own a BRZ but am looking to get one after my tax return. Been browsing this forum a LOT recently and am super excited on finally getting one of these cars. I drove my friends FR-s and fell in love immediately. I'm set on a BRZ if a dealer can swap the seats, if not I'll probably be getting a base FR-s.

Thanks for the help!

Have you checked out the seats? They're only leather on the side bolsters, the center seat and back are alcantara. You will not slide.

I had not noticed that, thanks for the information!:thanks:

Dealer won't let you swap, pretty sure. The alcantara is nice though, and like @pinski said, the leather is on the sides, you aren't going to slide.

The seat bolsters also will prevent you from sliding. I take my BRZ Limited autocrossing and the seats hold me very well.

You also can get a BRZ without leather - the Premium model. While the seats are the same as the FR-S, the cloth color is different.

The dealer won't let you swap because the Limited seats are heated, but the Premium and FR-S (non-Monogram) seats are not heated.

My previous car seats were all leather, and I find the BRZ leather (what there is of it on the bolsters) to be much less slippery. Also more comfortable.

My premium BRZ is all cloth, no leather :iono:

I understand not wanting leather, i got a premium over a limited partially for that reason

Worst case scenario, just buy the car and trade seats with an FRS owner. Don't think you will have too much trouble finding someone with an FRS that wants to swap.

They're really leather trimmed seats and primarily alcantara. High durability synthetic suede that sometimes grips you too well...

I'm pretty sure you would love the limited seats.

The seats are just about my favorite part of this car: they are so comfortable and great on long trips. There is no way you're going to be sliding around on that alcantara.

I'd swap my cloth seats for the limited ones!

This. You will be swamped with offers within minutes of posting. Including one from me.

If you do get cloth seats I would get the BRZ Premium seats over the FRS seats. They don't look nearly as cheap.
