Will this create too much down-force on the rear of the car at the track?

From the looks of the angle of attack, and chord thickness, I'd say no, that's a low downforce wing. Your drag penalty will kill your L/D though, so I'd rethink the pylon cross supports, to reduce that drag penalty.
