Because mine is leaking. I want to go to the dealer but they'll probably say it's a wear item.

Whats the oil leak above from? And NO they are not oil filled, but do have some lucubration on them.

looks more like something leaked onto them,

No, just lucubrated. @Rayme, still sporting your cool roof art? <3 Bender.

Replace bushings. Make sure there's no active leak on the new ones. :(

u have a active leak its even on your axle

Not a leak, i have diagnosed it @dealer as heat damage from Catalyst, if you look closely all the rubber has been heavily deformed by heat, it even transferres to other side by sway bar.

Yea, love them! But their last album I found it a little less enjoyable...

Interesting. I thought the techs. might have shot lubrication when they changed my oil but the other side is dry as the sahara. I'll see if I can get it replaced, it's definitely damaged by the look of it

I have an oil spot in the same area, If you have MT I believe that block off plate that is said to leak is above this area. My block off plate was dry to touch but who knows.

extrashaky 10-01-2014 12:00 PM

LOL at "lucubration."

Mine is also stained on/around that mount, but it's relatively dry and I can't figure out where it came from. I'm pretty sure it's not coming from the cam plate, 'cause I've been watching that bastard like a hawk and have noticed no leaks at all there.

Based on the comment about the cat, I'm wondering if exhaust heat has caused the lube on it to liquefy and sweat out.

did you touch the lube? I know the feel and smell of oil (maybe? from the cam plate over pipe down?), transmission (should not be), brake fluid (too far out the way), silicone grease (which is what in between the sways) etc. you can rule some things out. You need more pictures :) GL bro.

That oil is normal . Before we install the sway bar we lucubration the bushes by heavy grease. Also after market sway bar have it . If there is no lucubration it will squeaks

Again with this word. I'm picturing you all sitting around on the ground staring at that bushing and contemplating it.
