just another exhaust setup question

Hi gang, I know this type of posting got old quick but I am looking for some help. Trying to avoid making another mistake and I am looking for a sound clip that would resemble what I am looking to get. Here goes my rant....

I had the nameless 5" muffler with stock front pipe op with UEL cattless headers and had to change because it was too bloody loud at high rpms. At low rpms its sexy and really gives that rumble or burble I am missing. You see I had to change because it was too much. So I swapped the axleback for the q300 cat back. Now I can drive my car all sorts of hard and not worry about unwanted attention. Problem now is that I hardly hear the boxer rumble!!!

I am tempted to pull the trigger on a catted but unresonated front pipe because I feel this will finally open up the sound yet, with the q300 keep it tame at high rpms. I want the rumble back. The q300 reminds me an aweful lot of the resonated Perrin or magnaflow for comparison purposes. My op will be stock
What do think? Will this work?

Part of me is worried no resonator in the FP may cause rasp. Buy the q300 has a long one I'm there.

I've heard this cat back with a carless header and catlessbfp and it sounds good but I have not heard it w a vatted fp

I have a similar setup- JDL UEL, MOTIV overpipe, Motiv catted FP and Q300. There is no rasp under any circumstances. It is also quiet on idle and driving around < 75% throttle. When you get on it you 'll definitely hear it, but even then it's reasonable.

I'm 100% content with this setup and have been for the last 4 months. Sound quality and levels are so subjective, so not sure how useful this is.

Thanks for your response man. Can you tell me if you can hear that boxer rumble while cruising? That ba ba ba ba sound while slow acceleration and braking? That's what I miss. I'm feeling confident it won't be too loud with the q300. Now I'm tempted to shop for an op

Yeah the rumble is there, especially at low speeds. It is somewhat muted, but to have it any louder means having a louder exhaust.
