BRZ/FRS vented non-CF hood

Hey guys,

So I'm honestly surprised I haven't found more about this, but here's what's going on...

I recently suffered some nasty hail damage *hangs head in mourning*. My hood took it the worst; good ol' thin aluminum. I would like to get a new hood, but I would like to get one with some vents in it. I had a hood scoop on my old WRX, and I miss it. The problem I run into is that I'm not a fan of the carbon fiber look. I just want it to be silicon black like the rest of my car.

So I ask you for your advice. Should I get a CF hood and paint/wrap it, or is there some sort of fiberglass/aluminum hood that has vents in it that I can buy somewhere?

TLDR; I want a vented hood, but in silicon black not carbon fiber.

Just paint the hood.

Yeah, that's what I figured I'd end up doing, I was just wondering if there was a more cost-effective option. I'm guessing the hood itself will be around $750-800, and the painting maybe up to like $300? That part I'm not so sure about.
