It should not be hard to install.

vBulletin chat is quite the resource hog depending on the type of server/service this site uses (shared, vps, dedicated and hardware specs).

Well, I can tell you it is a dedicated server with load balancing on it, otherwise, you wouldn't have 31 IP's. vBulletin chat is only an issue when we're talking about shared/VPS servers. In this case, it more than likely would not be bad to install.
