gas pedal vibration

I've been noticing a high frequency gas pedal vibration around speeds over 50+mph mostly in fifth and fourth gear and it has nothing to do with engine speed but has a lot to do with the the vehicles actual speed (oomph!) lol anyway,

i was just wondering if this was normal since i know this car is build for as a driver oriented thus feeling everything is important.

any comments are appreciated! thanks

I feel like as my car broke in, mine started to do the same thing. On my car though, the amplitude of the vibrations is pretty low though so it doesn't bother me and I don't think it's a real issue. Is yours like this or more pronounced?

I noticed some vibration but it was more based off the pedal pressure not the speed of the car. only at a very finite interval and only if you slowly approach it. Like in 4th or 5th trying to hypemill a little.

I think it is just feedback from the spring weight system for the pedal. Nothing to be concerned with. You can always try a little lube on the pedal spring.

Mine is definitely speed related and it only happens on the higher gears 4th and above. The vibrations bug the hell out of me since they're intermittent and tingle my right foot when I'm just cruisin. If I go let's say 50% or more throttle I don't feel them that much. Man I really wish I could get rid of this sound but I kinda feel silly taking it to the dealer.....

Together with this gas pedal vibration is also a hummmm like a tuning fork or almost like a wheel bearing but not so much... Maybe it's normal for our cars to do this who knows

Yea my issue was just vibration (I am hearing impaired so it might not be in my effective hearing range) but if there is noise I would take the dealer mechanic for a drive to show it to them. If you can duplicate it on demand they will have to replace...whatever could fix it haha

I've noticed this too. Seems like it mysteriously stopped recently though...

I think I read somewhere here that you can take the pedal off and put some felt between the pedal and the firewall and bolt it back on and that might help, but the buzzing is actually coming from the spring inside of it resonating/vibrating.
