ignition coil pack #2 and #3, dealer won't cover

ok so I have 43,500 miles on my car, I bring car in to see if it's covered but apparently not and I will be charged upwards of up to 800 dollars to replace.

told that it's covered up to 36,000 miles only! so I'm really annoyed now.. I've bought cars always at Toyota I just wish they could have a good will just this once but it's a dealer, what am I to expect..

so now I have to pay for the diagnostics which I had already told them the codes right before.. a 5 year old could do it.. and they tell me what I had already told them
great..

is there anything I could do? I thought engine problems were covered up to 60,000 miles

buy them yourself for 120$ each then replace them yourself.. just 1 10mm bolt on each coil pack.. very easy to do

I was under the impression that they were impossible to get to without lifting the engine 5"+?

i replaced all the plugs without lifting the engine.. you dont need to.. remove the injector covers and thats it.. 14mm deep socket, 3" extension

Ummm.. you have to remove the coil pack to get to the plug.. like i said before, its a 10mm bolt holding the packs down.. i was able to remove the coil pack and the plugs without lifting the engine. total time less then an hour to remove and replace all plugs and coil packs

Powertrain warranty is 5 years 50K miles. The dealer HAS to cover that.

Your dealer is incompetent and you also didn't know your own warranty coverage. FYI it's in the Warranty booklet with the Owner's manual:
