TRD Exhaust 2014 vs 2015 Install

Has anyone installed a dual tip 2015 TRD catback exhaust on a 2014 FR-S? Both have different Toyota part numbers. I have an opportunity to buy an 2015 exhaust at a much lower price than a 2014.

most defiantly is just a axle back for the new 2015 one. So it would be even easier! like 2 bolts and then just the exhaust hangers

That would probably make the 2015 setup better since the old TRD exhaust had an undersized mid-pipe. Huge bottle neck

You might want to confirm it is in fact an axle back.

Someone here recently posted the diagram for the quad tip exhaust and it was exactly the same as the D-tip in every way except for the tips themselves.

Yeah, it severely decreases the amount of HP the NA 2L engine makes.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. Pulled the trigger and ordered the 2015 TRD Exhaust. Now to make room in my garage to store the lame stock exhaust.

Here is where I bought the TRD Exhaust for my FR-S:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=3477

When I made the purchase two days ago, the sales price was actually $847.20. It has gone back up in price since then. I was also able to skip the shipping cost because of local pick up. Cheers!

I'd be surprised if it changed. The price via Scion didn't change.

FYI the part number for the quad tip is PTR03-18150, the part is still not active from Toyota. There is plenty of stock in the Ontario warehouse.

My TRD order was cancelled because the quad tip would not be available until Oct. I'll wait because I want the 2015 exhaust.
