Wouldn't be surprised if it was the Z/28. Motortrend is very partial to American cars.

I think that was true of MT in the past, but not sure about present. No domestic finished in the top-5 in 2012 or 2013.

If anything, I think MT has become partial to Porsches and MB's. :)

Based on Randy's comments, I think the top-3 this year will be the 911 Turbo, M4, and Z/28. The STI might squeak into the top-5 as the surprise low-budget car.

I thought the i8 was just a concept. They're really going to produce them?

Released in Germany in June. Deliveries to retail customers in the U.S. began in August 2014.

I'm impressed that BRZ's roll angle is the same as BMW M6 and Porsche Cayman S.

I feel like everybodys idea of "best drivers car" is different and it can't be quantified.

Also thought it was interesting seeing Randy Pobst's take on a first-gen NA Miata:

He's a well-known Miata fan. His views on a good driver's car tend to align with mine, but I know guys like Chris Harris and others feel the Miata is over-rated or soft in stock form. I think the Miata is a bit soft, but definitely not over-rated.

The new Z/28 is impressing everyone that drives it. I'm surprised the 4C finished as high as it did, given that they didn't like the transmission - wish AR would offer it with a 6MT. No surprise on the Porsche.

Fiesta ST over STI? LOL I think Focus RS will crush STI bad then.

Maybe. Almost everyone has picked the Fiesta ST over the Focust ST though because it is more fun to drive. Focus RS is going to be heavier and more planted = less fun.

More of stupid pedals placement, uncomfortable seats and boost creep.
