Carbureter Repair/Rebuild?
OK,
I have a 78 Chevy Silverado with a 350 in it. It started having carb issues yesterday when my son drove it to school. Initially it had a stuck float (gas seeped from the gasket when we tried to start it. I was able to get the float unstuck, but now there's no fuel coming out of the jets. To me it sounds like rebuild time. I've nver rebuilt one, so I'm asking for assistance from anyone in the area. |

Never gotten to mess with a carbureter vehicle. I am willing to give it a shot though.

Yes, I know Google is my friend, but something can be said for working with someone else, with a tasty beverage, to get a car running.

I have done partial carb rebuilds back in the day. When I had to go all the way top to bottle I paid a friend to do it.
