ft 86 exhaust

how will the exhaust note for this car sound like? will it be amazing like its appearance?

I know there is a gt5 demo vid of it but did they nail the sound? Well we dont know because we havent heard it in real life OR im i missing out on it? xD

there should be a vid of the car from the tokyo auto show where they started it up and moved it (pretty sure it isnt the production motor tho, so exhaust note is subject to change), I don't have a link to the vid as I'm at work, I'll edit the post later when I get home if I find it, or someone doesnt beat me to the punch.

Yeah, please post a link, I can't find it anywhere?

ya it is, I'm sure we'll be able to hear it soon enough though

The exhaust sound will depend on the header/manifold design. It could sound 'normal' or have a Subaru 'chop' to it. But my guess is Toyota will go with an equal length manifold and more normal sound.

Yeah, I think so too. Current NA Subarus are running EL headers. Just after market headers can be UEL.

If it doesn't have some beefy sound to it ill make sure it does at some point ;)

Franisco 09-08-2010 10:32 PM

Id almost prefer it being el..

C-Bone 09-08-2010 11:16 PM

if the performance difference isnt much between the el and the uel I'll be getting the uel; but as with anything its all a matter of personal preference
