Exhaust with < 4" tips

Does this exist??? It seems that every single dual or single exit system for the 86 is 4" tips. The only example I can find smaller is the nameless track pipe, which I like a lot, but this is a for a daily driver.

Does it exist?

Not trying to take away from your preference but any reason for the tip size?

Captain Snooze 09-21-2014 02:09 AM

Couldn't your local exhaust shop give you what ever tips you want?

Because the factory tips are that big? Because a tiny tip would look silly in a huge hole?

I assume it's because you don't want to attract attention seeing that you're living in Kali, but it's the norm for the car...

just aesthetic preference really. I think 3.5" tip would look better, maybe a 3".

I believe the JDM or 2015 tips are that small.

I't s crap picture because of the sun, but the tape is resting on the top edge of the outside of the tip.

I literally just bought the JDM tips for a friends 2014 FR-S and they are the infamous 86 MM diameter and it's about 3.5 inches total if you include the outside edge and it's actually pretty big in person. If you get a cat-back you can always swap those tips on certain cat backs.

why you want a small tip, bro?

Triumphrider 09-22-2014 08:47 PM

Just the tip?

EMS Guy 09-23-2014 05:12 PM

the damn valence on the car is so absurdly large, why would you want anything less than 4" in tip, is beyond me. (could be my OCD talking)
