Help! smart key/keyless entry disabled
 

hey guys, I disconnected the battery to perform service on my brz, (transmission replacement...long story) and since then the touch sensors in my door handles won't operate and my trunk wont open inless I hit the trunk release inside the vehicle or on the fob. is there a recalibration process to solve this or do I have a larger issue?
