Nice!

Superhatch 09-16-2014 01:49 PM

But did you drift with it?

ZionsWrath 09-16-2014 02:00 PM

Now that you made it in life, what's next?

I saw a guy do that with his corrola. made me think for a second about switch to a bike for track.

srizzors25 09-16-2014 02:39 PM

Just lulzed pretty loud to the thought of trailer drifting :bellyroll:

It would be entertaining until the trailer flips haha.

My thoughts on getting the motorcycle, first off, its badass! nothing like dragging a knee at 100mph, quite an exhilarating feeling. Classically I am more of a car guy, but I like racing a lot, and its significantly cheaper at the level where I'm riding. I bought that bike basically ready to go for 3200 with tire warmers, a second set of plastics and front/rear stands. I also don't want to track my BRZ too much, I want to keep it healthy on the street for a long time. If (/when) I crash on the bike, its not really a big deal. It happens and they aren't hard or expensive to repair

True! thats the wonderful thing about the track though injuries don't happen too often. I have a good suit/gloves/boots/back protector and a really nice helmet. Everyone I've ridden with has crashed and they are all ok. It happens often but if you protect yourself well, the track generally treats you well.

That being said I raced with a guy who crashed the corner after the main straightaway (~135mph -> ~90mph corner) and he left in an ambulance. That doesn't happen often, most of the time people lowside in the slower/tighter corners or off camber turns

Its super fun and terribly addicting, totally worth it haha. Its all about riding within your own level. Really no reason at this level to push it beyond your skill, you'll just get yourself hurt or possibly take out other people. You always want to push it somewhat otherwise you'll never advance but there is a smart way to do it

Lol funny thing is I'm in the process of getting a bike, and just going by the videos I've seen off of youtube I can see why it can be so addicting. Well anyways, be safe out there lots of idiots on the road.

srizzors25 09-18-2014 03:00 AM

Thats why race bike man! haven't had a bike on the streets in month haha. I do miss it though...
