Price On Correctable cvc 27151 a Violation?
 
Anyone gotten pulled over for a correctable loud exhaust violation in LA county California? He just told me to show up with exhaust much quieter and i should be good. just wonder which credit card to put the fee on because i have no idea how much it is lol

If you get it signed off its just an admin fee. Its $25 in most counties.

Just take it to the law enforcement agency that wrote the ticket to avoid a fee there as well (at least in my area, ymmv)

If it's a fix it ticket, it's only 25 dollars.

Price will vary based on citing agency.

Admin fee is $10-25 depending on city/court jurisdiction.

It is an exhaust noise violation. May help you out if you Google'd the law and what others do.

yea dont remind me that google search was like a half hour of work and now i know the law to the T on how to avoid this LOL Silencer for my DD of car >.<

In the officers defense when i gas it the car likes to release thunder whip like sounds lol

Most exhausts available are going to be louder than the legal maximum... it's just that most police don't care unless it's obnoxious (to them) or someone complains.

I saw him stopped in opposite traffic both of us stopped at red light... he drove away for 2 blocks then flipped a bitch >.< that is like the only time i get pulled over and its frigging annoying :P Then again i got vinyl up the ass all over the windows lol :bonk:

Had a cruiser pull out of a hiding spot... I was going 10 over, happened to be the only one going that fast since I just moved into a long turn-only lane... cruiser pulls up behind me, then changes lane and speeds away.

heart attack mode.... then I realized what happened... VET PLATES FTW!

I discovered the most policed shortcut route to work >.> so annoying i will have to start staying on the freeways.... cops there leave me alone lol i Even broke out of carpool infront of 2 cops seating by myself and they did nothing except flash lights and go around (i cut them off even) :P

Been pulled over twice now and wasn't doing a thing either time! Good news was BOTH of the times the cops just wanted to look at the car, asked me where I got it, how much, how I liked it, etc.! One that followed me into a doughnut shop (how cliché) even bought me a coffee.
