Salutation to a fellow FRS/BRZ owner?
There is this thread, but i wanted to get the opinion on local owners.
I've had my FRS for approximately 3 weeks now. And during this time, i've probably encountered 10-12 FRS/BRZ drivers on the road. Approximately half of them either gave me a thumbs up or a wave. One especially waved going the opposite side on I-205 LOL. So this pool is to see what the majority of local members do. Discuss/Vote away. PS. I own a mint condition e30 as well, and in that community most all enthusiasts give a salutation. I quite dig it. |
Ha your around my neck of the woods.

I have always waved at any cool or same as mine sports car, but only while I'm driving my own. The exception was when I had the Porsche... They never waved back unless it was a 1970s or older Porsche.

I've only seen 2 or 3 in my town so far but we all wave

Owned the car for approx two months now...what a great experience!
Love it, love the car, love the ppl that drive it. Even with having some pops and cracks coming from the rear of the car and the window motor making unusual noise...still every time i get in the car it puts a smile on my face. Like last week. Pulled into a starbucks parking lot, a silver FRS owner gives me the thumbs up. Two very stock FRS owners, but appreciate the passion and ownership of this great machine. I always wave, but have never gotten a wave back. I don't see too many of them around here.
|
I always throw up a piece sign. I'm around you also, in SE Portland.
|
I throw the Deuces when I can see them. I mostly see Asians driving the twins around Everett/Edmonds area. Sad they Never seem interested in even looking at other twins when I see them.
|
Always give props to other 86s, proper Subaru's, proper euro cars, etc.
|
Sometimes. But it's seldom returned. Other twin owners don't seem to be looking out for other twins, or don't care when they see one. Too many of them around here, maybe.
