Would you like a tutorial for footwell illumination - Door sensor AND switch toggle?
 

Alright guys, so here's the thing, as I explain in the video. I searched for a tutorial of how to hook up a footwell illumination kit so that it will toggle on by a switch, as well as by the door sensor, and I couldn't seem to find anything.. Perhaps I suck at googling, or maybe nobody makes tutorials on it.

I'm a big supporter of these fourms and I've been on here nearly every day since I decided I was going to purchase my BRZ. I'm always browsing through everything, yet I have hardly contributed to make the fourms better with my insights, knowledge, ect.

And with that said, if you guys would like a tutorial on how to do this yourself, I'd be willing to make a write up with lots of pics and some schematics. Just let me know! :thanks:

Not a fan of footwell illumination personally but I voted yes because you can never have too many DIY tutorials. This will help someone somewhere someday.

I would like to see a DIY video on how to wire up the door sill lights on an FRS - we don't have them, but BRZ/GT86's do

I will work on the tut this weekend guys. As far as the door sill lights, when I make my tutorial for the footwell lights, you can follow what I do, just run some more wires to the bellcaps/wirenuts/ or solder point (you'll see when I wrote it up, I'll call you out). As for cleanly tucking the wires, you'll have to figure that out. Can't be too hard.
