Hello everyone,

Pretty cool idea to have a journal section. Just picked it up two days ago.

My son was happy that we have a "black" car now.

First weekend with the FR-S. First thing I wanted to do is a full detail. I used a foam gun to wash the car, clayed, and washed again. Upon closer inspection, i found a lot of left over glue form the protective plastic covering used when shipped. The glue was removed with Meguiars 205.

I've recently become a big fan of Chemical guys products. I applied their Wet Mirror finish, Jet Seal 109, then finished the car with their 50/50 Concurs paste wax.

Looking good. Metalic flakes showing even in pics so it must be pretty noticable in real life. Icing on the cake when your kid likes it too.

That Asphalt/DGM color looks amazing in direct sunlight! Congrats on the new car :)
