I am Sooooo Envious

Spending a week in Tennessee for work and damn they got some sweet roads. Don't know why everybody doesn't own a twin. These cars were built for this place. And what do I get to drive on these great winding runs? A corolla! Was the "sportiest" rental they had.

Assuming you must be here in the east?

Sevierville. Not sure how placed in the State. Roads through and around the mountains just beg for my car to come play.

Shame you don't have the only corolla worth having....... AE86 :)

Does it have anything like the Montana challenge? Going from Spokane first sign "Welcome to Montana." Second sign "75 mph." Third sign "sharp curves ahead."I think not. An FR-S throw down if I've ever seen one. I was all like Oh no you didn't.

Hey thanks humfrs. Your Going to the Sun video inspired me to well go there. Loved Glacier.

Welcome to Murica bro

since it was a rental, was it at least the new corolla?

Because the wrx has "evolved" into looking like the corolla, so I would just say you rented a wrx lol

If you really want to have a good cry because you do not have your car with you then take a quick drive down to the Tail of the Dragon.

I am in the opposite situation as you. I am in Florida for a couple months. The roads here are great for getting from point A to point B. They suck for driving enjoyment. Straight, crowded and lots of traffic lights. I can sort of understand all the whining about the twins needing more horsepower if you live in an area like this. The only fun you can have is mashing the go pedal. Anyone that lives in a place like this has never really gotten to experience the twin they own unless they have driven somewhere else or taken it to a track.

Touché, but in terms of being able to find one, that's near impossible!

I might scope out a mountain run, I'm in Tucson AZ for the week for some aircraft recovery training AND I have my car with me :)

Didn't see that in rental lineup. Just the very base corolla. Sooooo much hard plastic inside afraid to throw it around for fear of weird bruises.
