San Diego to Houston...what to expect and look out for?
Hey all!
There is a high likelyhood that I'll be moving from San Diego to Houston with my gf in a couple months. I'm currently here for the weekend just checking out the area/neighborhoods. First thing I've noticed, most of the roads are not lowered friendly lol. We're looking at living near Uptown, Galleria, or Upper Kirby area. I've only seen one FRS on the road so far, so I was wondering where you guys all meet up and how the scene was out here. The weather and roads definitely will take some getting used to; might end up getting a truck for a daily. Any advice you guys/gals might have for a Californian trying to get acclimated to Texas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Just to give you guys a taste of my FRS: http://http://www.ft86club.com/forum...ad.php?t=71505 |
What brings you guys from San Diego to Texas?

@wlwarfield: my gf has a great job opportunity. She got a verbal offer for the position and is now just waiting for officially job offer so she can negotiate some terms.

Most of the Houston meets are set up through our Facebook page, and it's mostly meeting up for food.
