Anyone keeping their siriusXM subs when it runs out?

Dealer said we have 4 months free on the BRZ for siriusXM. I'm kinda getting attached to it, as well as it being more convenient that streaming my phone music.

Traffic data is also retrieved from the sirius xm subscription.

So do you guys think it is worth it to continue the subs?

I'm letting it die so I can get the $77/yr deal although in theory you don't have to wait until it shuts off.. I'm mixed on it.. sometimes I get sick of whatever I have on my ipod and for those times it's great.. also when I leave my ipod in the other car. For ~80 a year it's worth having I guess, but I'm not interested at the normal 150/yr.

I won't even be signing up for the free trial.

Since they dropped BBC Radio1, I'm not a fan... :(

How does one get that $77 a year thing?

My dad's Porsche randomly started having service again last fall, but it ended after a few weeks. He loved it so much he pays for it ever since. Cheap move to randomly give service 3 years after the original trial ran out, but we love it now haha

I didn't keep it in my last car and didn't miss it... Just used my iPhone most of the time for music. I seriously doubt I'll keep it in the BRZ either. I seem to lose the signal a lot due to the trees and buildings in downtown Chattanooga (which I feel is not enough to warrant loss of signal). Is anyone else seem to have crappy reception with the Sat radio? I'm not planning on keeping it but curious...

I will be, although I'm not sure how to re-up it. :)

Call them and tell them you are cancelling at the end of the trial because it's too expensive and you can't afford it. They'll make a number of offers one should be the 77 deal. Sometimes you have to talk to a few reps though so it's somewhat annoying.

Some people will just call in and request the $77/yr deal and it's 50/50 on getting it then.
