I don't even know what wax I used on it, it's the wax that is supplied to the dealership. I did do the first wash/wax though. But to be honest, all my cars look cleanest/shiniest during sunset and I suppose it's just the way my house is angled! |

What ever he used it looks fantastic. I need to put a solid coat of wax on mine.. or just get my arse in gear and take it over to a local shop that does high end detail work. I know the owner and the work/products are top notch. The white on these cars just pops when its clean and waxed. I've heard some say its the same as the subaru swp.. but parked next to a swp WRX the FRS looks much more "pearly" .. if that makes any sense.

na. Diy. all up costs came to about $120. I used 400 grit sand paper to rough up the wheels, acetone to wipe them down, 2 cans of vht black primer, 2 cans of gloss black caliper paint, 2 cans of clear coat. all up took about 6 hours. 4 of those hours were waiting for paint to dry |

depends on the state. Some dont, some do. Here in Virginia we have to put on front plates. that's why the grimmspeed plate relocation kit. I demanded the dealer NOT drill any holes in my bumper.

I also have a tow hook bracket so I can get it on quick if I need.

I think this car is the same one in the Miami area..it came to a Lexus of Pembrooke Pines meet we sponsored.... met the owner and he was a really cool guy. It was like he read my mind with what to do with a FRS.
