Nice apex shot! How much negative camber are you running F/R?

3.4F, 2.4R. That particular corner has a lot of rubber laid down and more camber than anywhere else on the track. Also, the car understeers more than I would like with 400 pound springs on T2s.

I've got the same setup (400# springs on T2's) and yeah it does push a bit. Are you getting even wear on your front tires? Seems like your camber settings are spot on, at least based on that picture.

Pat 07-11-2017 11:02 AM

Well, I'm not sure I can tell you how even the tire wear is. I only have about three days on the RC-1s with the current setup. I'm just starting to take temps and document things again after some changes.
On the street I change the front to -2.5* with no toe and that seems to be good enough. It doesn't turn in like I want, but wear on the tires seems to be reasonable.
I really don't want to change spring rates in the rear. I wonder if swapping rear or front sway bars is a better/easier way to go.

The best I have driven is FR-S since I have never had the chance to drive a Porsche :) Maybe this is a good thing.

Haha well I will say this - the FRS is the best engineered car I've driven that's not a Porsche, so we're on to something...
