Would these look good on a whiteout frs with oem 215 tires on stock suspension? I'm having a real tough time deciding. I don't want to regret my decision down the road if I do get them.

Or is white on white to much.

When the color matches I think it looks ok, but when it's off enough to notice not so much..

With the long winter months dragging on here in central Europe, there aren't many events to go to, but there are a fair few well known car companies only an hours drive from me. So yesterday I was at BBS Motorsport GmbH to be given a tour around the facilities. I will be writing an article for www.autolifers.com in the next few days so keep your eyes peeled on the site.
What I didn't know was they have a restoration section which was packed full of old magnesium centers (like E50, E30 designs etc.), that was really cool to see! It was surprisingly cheap too, about €25 per magnesium centre, to have it restored! (depending on condition etc.)

I also seen the new wheels for the Porsche 918. Porsche manufacture the wheels for the "normal" 918, but have asked BBS to manufacture the wheels for the Weissach package. They also are the wheel suppliers to bugatti.

In the meantime, here are a few pictures of the car that I took on the way back. The light was fading really fast so I only had about 10 minutes to take these before it was too dark.

First post and thought I'd show a sneak peak at my build. 2013 FR-S with a few BRZ parts, lowered on Eibach Prokit and blacked out rims. There's lots more, but I'll save that for a journal at some point. When I purchased the car, there were a few spots that needed attention. So I went to town purchasing some parts from the BRZ that I thought were a better design. The anntenna had to go along with the 86 boxer logo. I LOVE the 86 logo, but that small plastic piece is just not premium enough for the vehicle I'm trying to build.

Most of my mod installations came with information from this site. Along with some logical problem solving, this site is an insane resource. So now it's time to pay it forward and become a member.

Not too many FR-S's with BRZ headlights. I've always wondered, fitment wise, do the headlight just bolt in? I know the BRZ bumper has little tear duct covers, but I guess the BRZ headlights fit the FR-S bumper just fine huh? I was always concerned they would not line up on the inside corners, but it looks like they do.

Physically, they fit right in. There is a small piece of rubber at the inner point of each BRZ headlight. You peel that off and boom, FR-S headlight. I'd like to go into better detail at some point but in a nut shell - I'm a visual person so I ended up drawing out the FR-S headlight wiring layout using coloured markers. Same for the BRZ headlight. I had to use the harness from the FR-S headlight and re-wire it onto the BRZ headlight. That's a mouthful! The wiring diagram allowed me to make sure the second position was my boomerang LEDs and then full position gives me LEDs + HIDs.

Here is a shot of the eureka! moment where I considered myself an entry level electrician - Not really. But it felt damn good to know I had factory blacked-out headlights that never needed to be baked. I never knew anything about this field though, so if I can do it, you probably can too. Take note of our lovely scenery of bullshit snow in the background. As long as there was sun, I didn't let the Canadian weather stop me. I know, a bit crazy.

My plan is to add in Tom's tails. So the match-up front to rear should be nice. Then I'm done and sick of upgrading the lighting! It's been all about the details for the first phase of mods - Now onto bigger, better things.
