Snapped this yesterday with my iPhone at my dealership. The engine is mounted quite low in the engine bay. Notice the upper intake manifold is well below the strut towers.

I have to say.. LOVE the Silver!! I am actually torn between Argento and Raven.. I've had a couple of Silver cars.. 01 Mercedes SLK320, 05 Scion tC.. Always wanted Black.. but I just find myself drawn to these pics..lol. HELP!!

I've always liked Silver as well. I was gonna try white, but I really like the silver. In some pictures the white blows out the contrast and you lose the lines, silver always seems to show the lines of the car.

I totally agree. I had a White 87 Mustang GT back in the day.. and although i took home some trophies.. it was such a pain in the ass to keep clean! I know todays paints are much better.. but Silver is just a better color.. does show the lines well.. and I love the way it shines when waxed.. :)

Getting my Argento tinted tomorrow. I will take pics afterward. Trying to find good background for photos. Any suggestions? I'm in the east bay north of Vallejo. Maybe I'll get up into Napa??? Pics to follow soon.

Ha! I'm driving up to Napa on Saturday. GF and her friend are meeting up for an early dinner and some wine. Figure'd it'd be a good chance to put some miles on the car.

I need to do tint soon it make the car look like a different beast.

As for places to shoot, I'm all about direct lights. I've been looking for a nice dark parking lot with either 1 or 2 direct light sources so the car can look isolated and illuminated by those two lights. I also need to find a tripod though since it'll end up being a few second exposure since the light will be so low.
