Jayde's SWP BRZ Limited

Hello everyone. My name is Anthony and I own a 2013 SWP BRZ Limited. All I can say about this car is that is wows me every time I drive it. I'm glad I waited! :)

I picked her up on June 1st, 2012 at Mid-Hudson Subaru in Wappangers Falls, NY. Payed MSRP, plus usual fees. Had 7 miles on her when I first got in it, and now has just over 600 miles on the clock. She's begging to be revved, only 400 to go!!!

Here's what she looked like when I picked her up. I had to mount a tow hook license plate kit (Thanks to GrimmSpeed for getting them out so quick!) so the dealer wouldn't drill the bumper for the front bracket. Don't worry, I took off the plate once I got to my friends house. :)

Here's some links to posts I've made about the car:

First Wash!

Thanks for looking!

Awesome!! Can't wait to see some more reviews from owners

Ok, I lied. I wasn't able to pick it up today. But I did get to see it! My god, it's beautiful! And no drilled front license plate!!!!!!!! I had to bug my sales person for months for her to not do that.

Insurance is all set. Decided to start a new plan with Geico, since I was amazed at how cheap it was through them for being 22 and living in NY. I'm just waiting to see if Subaru and my dealer's banks can beat the 3.99% financing I got already. I should be picking it up tomorrow!

Here's a terrible pic of the car!

:bellyroll: That was taken with my phone. It doesn't take the best of photos. Expect a shoot tomorrow when I pick it up! It's going to be a long day at work tomorrow.

Try penfed. www.penfed.com

I got 1.99%. If you are military no cost to apply, otherwise 20 bucks.. Might be worth a try.

I'll give that a try. My dealer said he was confident that he can get under 3.99%, so we shall see.

I'm so excited, you have no idea. I'm amazed at how short the car is. I'm 5'5" and I was easily able to reach the top of the car. I can't imagine how the car looks to someone 6'+.

Awesome. Definately give it a try...if you have good credit you should be able to get 1.99. Good luck and enjoy the sweet ride

Congrats! Can't wait to see what everyone does to their cars! :)

Jayde 05-31-2012 09:42 PM

Thanks! For now I'm just doing the GrimmSpeed license plate mount via tow hook when I pick up the car from the dealer. That way they don't drill my bumper for the bracket since NY requires a front plate. Other then that, might just do tint for now. I wanna get to know the car before I start changing a few things. :bellyroll:

I checked the website. It says there are Penfed certified dealers but I can't seem to find the list. Reason why I ask is if I end up not getting my ordered BRZ and just go with FR-S would that be an issue? If I get approved thru Penfed would it even matter if I go with Subaru or Scion?

First I have heard of this, I do not believe the dealer you buy from will be an issue. I will call in the AM and follow back up with you.
