Paint shops (white pearl problems)

Anyone have personal experience yet having their bumpers repainted with a pretty close match? Whiteout and Satin White Pearl owners specifically..everyone that I have seen that has had theirs repainted looks way off on shade and i'd rather keep my rock chips than have it look like that.

I'd be willing to travel to any shop within 100 miles that can match the white pearl properly.

Thanks in advance!

My car was in a minor front end accident and Fountain Valley body works matched the white perfectly when I had my bumper and passenger fender repainted.

tell them to paint match behind the trunk without clear coat. that helps a lot.

Oh that is a great idea! Wouldnt have thought about that. Will keep that in mind if I ever need to get some Whiteout color matched :thanks:

My 5axis is kit doesn't match completely and my trunk spoiler doesn't match, even though the paint shop used their paint choose. I notice my car doesn't even match with my friend's car. I think at the end you have to blend the part to make it appear it match.

Pearl white is one of the hardest colors to match. I vouch for dtm since they have a, if it doesn't match we'll do it again for free, policy

the problem is people think the bumpers matched from the factory and thats just not true, bumpers never match the car especially with white pearls and when people pick the cars up they finally notice this and think it was a dead on match from the get go.

this would not help at all variant chips are clear coated and to be sure the side tone and flop is correct you need the shine
