Can I borrow an ECUTek cable?
 

Hey guys,

My car just had the Full Blown Premium turbo kit installed at a local shop in Lebanon Ohio. It's had the kit installed since last week, but we're having complications with the post office regarding the ECUTek cable to flash the basemap. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to loan me/the shop a cable so I can not be waiting another week to get my car back. Not only am I suffering from withdrawal, but not having a car for 2 weeks kinda sucks and I'm not wanting to make it 3. I would of course compensate for such a kind gesture.

Sorry I can't help you, but - the shop tunes ECUTEK but doesn't have their own cable?

LOL I was wondering the same.

He didn't say that shop was doing the tuning, just the installation. I would bet he's just going to run the supplied tune and not have them custom tune it.

Did you try FB?

I take it back, you will need the dongle so without it the cable is useless.

Yeah I'm not having the shop custom tune it. Was just gonna use the off the shelf tune from FB for simplicity and money's sake since I don't have other supporting mods on the car. The shop has the Tactrix cable which is obviously not compatible with ECUTek's software/firmware.

Post office got their crap together and they found the cable yesterday. Car should be done today!!!!
