Tint law for third brake light
 

I plan on getting tint done to my car soon, and had a question about the third brake light. When getting the tint applied is it mandatory for the tint to go around the third brake light and not over it? Also is ceramic tint worth it over the traditional tint?

Ceramic for sure. Keeps heat out better and lasts longer and fade less over time. As far as legality issues with tinting the 3rd brake light you can either call up city and county or my guy Dwayne (Pro Tint Hawaii) (808) 847-8468

Yes, it needs to go around the third brake light now.
