I contacted Brian at Redline Tuning searching for a hood quicklift for the new FRS. My 2006 Sienna Limited and my older daughters 2008 Scion TC both have them, they work well. He sent me this email:

"We are very interested in developing a system for the FR-S, we just can’t get one of these vehicles. If you happen to be part of any internet forums or groups (or your daughter) for the new Scion, please post looking for a volunteer near us in Dexter, Michigan. Development time is about 2 hours and the person will receive the system for free for their time. Otherwise, just check our site every once in a while, hopefully we will find one later this summer.
