By standard you mean the original equipment? Would like to hear that.

Running a Borla UEL (newest version), stock OP, Berk catted FP, stock catback. A little louder than stock but still quieter than some sporty OEM exhaust setups I've heard. It's quiet enough that no one would suspect there are any aftermarket exhaust parts on the car. It's raspy/rattly during cold start cat warm up timing but that goes away quickly.

Interestingly the FP seemed to add a noticeable amount of power. I know that doesn't make sense - when I went Stage 1 I noticed some difference, when I got the header and went Stage 2 it made a less noticeable difference, after adding the front pipe I think that registered the most on the buttdyno. Could be placebo but placebo didn't do much for me at Stage 1 and Stage 2.

It gets tricky at times, but the first power mod we do could make it seems like the most power was added, releasing the car from the stock form even, everything after that seems just normal. Let me see some vids.

Sorry! In the UK we say 'standard' rather than 'stock' or whatever. I'll try and get something together.

Tsudo UEL Catless Header
Invidia Overpipe
Berk Hi-Flow Catted Front Pipe
Invidia Q300 Catback
OFT Stage 2 UEL

Sounds very tame during normal driving, only a bit loud on a cold start up. I would definitely recommend this setup to anyone.

PSR (similar to Tomei) UEL and over pipe, stock everything else. Sound tube delete. 1 pc drive shaft (whine).

Sounds almost stock, except cold starts! :)

ABout 30 sec into this vid has some throttle...

You can get rid of the cold start pretty easy.

Wayno 11-10-2014 06:43 AM

Why the hell would i do that? I replaced shiv's modified cold start with stock.

No cats so no need to retard timing to warm them up, lowers the noise.

Well if you have no cats on a street car you're a douche, end of story, even on e85.

Why dont you contribute to the thread and stop the unncesseray comments, because of people like you is why we have to search through pages of irrelevant posts to find anything useful.

So I guess people that daily drive older classic cars are all douches?

Thanks for letting me know! I was confused for a little bit.

Maybe you should try coming to a FREE COUNTRY where I can do what I want to my car and not have to worry about my overreaching government telling me what I can and cannot do to my choice of wheels.......pending on state of residence of course lol
