When the car is off but key is in with the battery on, click through the odometer til you get to the setting that isn't usually there and then hold the odometer and it'll turn it on. I'm sorry if it isn't specific enough, I'd consult the manual if you want specific doe.. sorry brutha

I'm going to assume you ate the manual or are using it as a doorstop

Here is a video

Tried the method you describe but the gear option does not appear. Is it because I have an at rather than stick, '14 FR-S?

Never been in an auto, but doesn't the gear indicator show up once you use the paddle shifters?

Unless I'm not remembering the manual right it doesn't specify that the features only show up when the car is off. That really confused me the first time setting it up.

Yes, but only after you hit a paddle unless your in manual mode. I wish it always displayed the gear.

I noticed that too. The Porsches I drove displayed the gear the auto box was using but the FRS display just says "D" all the time.

Looks like Toybaru decided not to display that.

1. Drive in manual mode some more.
2. Recognize what gear you're in by speed + RPM || speed + engine noise.
3. ?????
4. Profit!
