Fishing! 8/21 and BONUS scenic drive

Okay, so I have a fishing license I haven't been putting to use much. I'm going fishing tomorrow morning! Hopefully with @Chen. :D

Going to be fishing for trout at Faraday Lake near Estacada, OR.

Meet @ and leave by 8:30 AM at the McDonald's on hwy 224 and SE 135th.

Address:
13470 Southeast 135th Avenue
Clackamas, OR 97015

We'll fish from 9:00AM til whenever, probably til 11:00. If interested, we can also head east from there down 224 to the ripple brook ranger station with photo-ops along the way.

Here's a map:

If you're a fisherman with gear, all you really need is powerbait or power eggs. rooster tails, blue foxes, and kastmasters also work. Faraday lake has a current, so it's either a light slip weight for drift fishing or a heavy weight for plunking.

All I have is a rod. But I'll meet you up.

Mike and I killed it today. Went for about an hour and a half. And we hit our limit. I'm down to do this again.

Boat or shore fishing? Live or hard bait?

We did some poor man's fishing for stocked rainbow trout. Powerbait and bluefox.

We can go to trillium lake next week. Im off Thursday through Saturday. Weekends suck at all bodies of water however. Everyone and their families are out during the weekend

I'm down to go again Friday morning. I didn't realize how addicting fishing is once you catch stuff.

@indesign photos look great. Next time we go I'll bring my camera/gopros as well.

Sounds good.

Do you guys want to do Faraday Lake (the one Chen and I just went to) again? It's considerably closer to the city, about 20 miles from Clackamas.

I'm suggesting Trillium Lake up by Mt.Hood, but it's a further drive, about 40 miles (close to an hour) from Gresham.
