Not sure why you need a resonated one. Running a catless front pipe won't even change the tone of your exhaust very much. If you change out the header though, expect some noise. :)

I think he said he's running a resonated exhaust, which does muffle the sound quite a bit compared to a non-resonated/straight pipe exhaust. Seems he just wants to know "best" hi-flow cat.

I think Magnaflow makes one that isn't too bad. I usually recommend just going to your local reputable custom muffler shop and asking them, since they'll be the ones most likely putting everything together.

I need coffee. :(

Berk HFC setup which uses a 200-cell metallic substrate. It's also extremely reliable for repeated abuse.

Not doing catless, sound and smell are a no go for me hence why i asked about a HFC......And my exhaust now is a quiter resonated exhaust (q300,perrin, etc). Thats why I was asking for the best bang for the buck (value, performance and sound) for a set up with stock headers and overpipe and a resonated exhaust

The smell is a subjective issue. It is there, but it is less noticeable with the proper tune even with a complete catless setup. With the secondary cat deleted, you actually won't notice any difference in smell. The primary cat is supposed to do its job. ;)

Berk HFC is high quality. We only vouch for stuff that works and works extremely well.

I have P&L's catted front pipe, true 2.5" stainless made in shop for $299 shipped. They might give you a discount being on the forums too

The Tsudo HFC front pipe is well made, fits great and is very economical but I question the effectiveness of it's 200 cell HFC. Still, it does the intended job for only $200.

sound doesnt change a lot between catless and HF. i switched out Catless to HF since i tried to low down sound level based on people claiming sounds gets reduced.
after switching, it reduced very little barely noticeable. i was lazy and didnt switch back to catless.
