Subaru student's discount

Has anyone taken advantage of Subaru's student discount? If so, can you explain what kind of deal/discount it consists of? There's not much information on their site, thanks in advance.

When I bought my BRZ back in January the student discount was just a lower interest rate. Something like 1.9-2.9% but since the 2013 BRZ that I bought came with 0% APR, I didn't get any additional bonus. Scion was offering a $750 rebate for recent grads purchasing new cars.

When I got my 2013 BRZ I got the student discount. I think it was only $500 here in Canada. And you need some sort of proof that you graduated within the last year (or maybe 6 months I can't remember)

In Canada it is $750 if you are within 4 months of graduating or have graduated within the last two years

Do dealers normally allow this to combine with any other discounts?

Not really sure. I just purchased a white Aozora through easycardiscount.com and that had that included $750 off. I did get a bunch more off because of the broker thing so it is hard to say

No they don't. I tried to get another one that I qualified for and they wouldn't allow it

Dealership I went to was gonna combine recent graduate and military discount, but then they pulled a 180 and said only if I finance through them. Didn't feel like transferring my loans after buying the car, so I just bit the bullet on the $1500. Whatever.

I didn't think Subaru had a student discount... if they did it should be in the form of a rebate so that should be on top of whatever the dealer will discount the car...

How much is the student discount?
