Top Speed EL Header

5 Attachment(s)
I bought the Top Speed EL length header for under 400 bucks. Couldn't believe the price. Welds and finish were top notch. I had it high temp ceramic coated and installation went smooth. It fit perfectly. I hooked it up to a catless Perrin resonated 3" exhaust. HP gain was 14 at the wheels. I was disappointed with this as I was expecting more. Just wishful thinking I guess.
Seat of the pants performance was great. Knocked a full second off my 0 to 60 times, and from rolling at 3000 rpm, 1st gear to 70 mph knocked that time down a full second also. And I love the sound.

you really expected more? Maybe in the dip I could understand but more peak than 14wheel from a header????

Header and full exhaust. Yes, I thought it would be worth more but I probably was expecting to much.

Oh didn't realize you had a full exhaust. I thought you meant header alone.

Header and exhaust cutting 1s off 0-60 and gaining 14hp on a NA 2.0L is pretty great imo.

:word: this might have to be my next mod, regardless of my 1st Top Speed experience

I think what I was expecting was Perrin shows a video where they added their exhaust and intake and made 192HP?
I add the same exhaust, same intake, PLUS EL header and make 177?
What gives?

I'm glad you had a good experience. I had some of their first ones. Flanges were completely warped. They're just sitting in my garage now.

Do you have a printout? I'd love to see the torque curve.
