Joe's Kurokongouseki 86
10 Attachment(s)
So, hey everyone, my name is Joe and i'm from Belgium (the other side of the Atlantic for most of you)!
I've been the proud owner of a GT86 since february 2014 :D My car hasn't got too many mods yet, but i'm saving up so everything will come in time! (still at uni, so i'm on a student budget) Anyway, my previous and first car was a Toyota Corolla E12 Hatchback, it had a 1.4 D4D engine (turbodiesel): Attachment 88239 Attachment 88240 And then this is my current car: Raven Toyota GT86, named her "Kurokongouseki". Not the easiest name, but suits the car in my opinion (look it up)! Mod list up untill now: - Yospeed center console plaque - Valenti smoked tails - interior + exterior LED conversion (dome, trunk, license plate, turn signals, reverse) - red painted brake calipers - DIY smoked turn signals (the small ones on the side & the big ones in front) - yellow wrapped fogs + NOKYA yellow fog lights (stock ones were awful) - Engine accents in red (engine cover + all the yellow bits + had some fun with the fusebox) - SuperTek carbon fiber hood dampers - K&N drop-in air filter - Perrin air inlet tube (sound tube delete), also red - MTEC shift springs - custom dual canister catback exhaust (invidia N1 isn't road legal here so got a legal one custom made) - AnarchyMotive Purple Haze shift knob - Tomei UEL header (+ O2 spacer) Then this is what i'd still like to do: - Square setup wheels: still changing my mind every day - KW V1 coilovers - APR front splitter - CS style lip kit (only sides and rear) - CF ducktail spoiler OR Vis Racing CF trunk - CF interior (dash, door handles, air vents, ...) - OFT - Password:JDM Front upper strut braces - upgraded steering wheel - lightweight crank shaft pulley - CF trunk garnish - PSX24W to H11 fog light conversion - LCA's - front camber bolts - overpipe (not sure which one) - MAYBE front pipe (but might not since i don't want a TOO loud daily) On a little side note: in Belgium regulations forbid us to mod cars too much enginewise  What i've done up untill now is kind of where i have to draw the line  (am i going to? not entirely) Now the pictures :D Attachment 88244 Attachment 88245 Attachment 88246 Attachment 88247 Attachment 88248 Attachment 88251 Attachment 88249 Attachment 88250 And a video i made from the exhaust: [ame="http://youtu.be/aVN3C8-qC14"]http://youtu.be/aVN3C8-qC14[/ame] That's it for now! Comments, questions and tips are always welcome :) Grtz Joe |

Little 86 meet Belgium
14 Attachment(s)
Hey everyone,
Today we had a little meet here in Belgium with some 86 enthousiasts, obviously we are not nearly as much as when there's a meet in the States but still. For our little country & for this to be the first meet, 10 cars certainly wasn't bad! Great people and nice cars, here are some pictures :D Attachment 88350 Attachment 88351 Attachment 88352 Attachment 88353 Attachment 88354 Attachment 88355 Attachment 88356 Attachment 88357 Attachment 88358 Attachment 88359 Attachment 88349 Attachment 88360 Attachment 88361 Attachment 88362 That's it! How he'll do with technical inspection i don't know but heck, he had the "cohones" to do that here in Belgium so cutos for that! Still has to dyno it since it's pretty new (2 months in there) but his stock power was 180 at the wheels !!! Pretty lucky there in my opinion since most i read are around 160-165!!!! :eyebulge: Grtz |
Nice pics of the cars. Thanks.

Washed the car a couple days back, took a picture with sundown & tried out some photo editing! I think it didn't turn out that bad

Then this is what i'd still like to do: - XXR 530 in bronze --> 18x8.75 ET35 - ST X coilovers - CS style lip kit - CFW carbon fiber ducktail lip - CF interior + exterior accents - Catted UEL header (kind of not allowed) + ECU tune - Front upper strut brace - different steering wheel (red & black and a bit smaller) - lightweight crank shaft pulley And probably some other stuff too but those will pop op in my mind in time  Grtz |
Got my Anarchymotive shift knob & MTEC shift springs installed and the shifting is so much smoother now! Love the way it feels, certainly the 2nd to 3rd and 4th to 5th shifts go way faster in my opinion :D
In other words: i'm happy! Grtz |
